Assistant to TAHO President

TAHO’s Founder/President/Executive Director is seeking a full-time dedicated administrative/personal assistant to help manage the high demands of the organization.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Managing/maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
- File management.
- Assistance with accounts receivable/collections.
- Data entry.
- Managing, fielding, and directing administrative phone calls and emails.
- Assistance with event planning/coordination.  
- Maintaining schedule/coordinating meetings.
- Minor assistance with inventory management processes.
- Assistance with project management.
- Additional duties will be required dependent on organizational and director needs.

This position will report to, and work directly under, the TAHO Director. Our Director is seeking a passionate candidate who believes in TAHO’s mission and animal welfare. This position has potential to grow as the organization grows and may lead to management/executive level positions. We are seeking a candidate that is looking for long-term employment and plans to grow with us!

Ideal candidate will be professional with the ability to multi-task. The ability to work in stressful conditions and deadlines while maintaining composure is a must. Must be able to follow directions while paying close attention to detail. Must enjoy building relationships with clients and team.

An interest or experience in basic veterinary assisting knowledge and techniques is required. In times of low administrative work loads, this position will ideally be able to provide temporary relief assistance to the medical and client service teams.

Schedule will vary dependent on demands. Primarily shifts will be Mon-Fri 9-5 or 11-7 and will average 35-45 hours each week. The ability to be flexible with abrupt schedule changes is a must.

Education required: High School Graduate
Experience: None required. General office/admin experience preferred.
Salary: $10-$12/hr.
