Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) - Full Time

TAHO is looking to add a licensed RVT (or highly experienced assistant) to our team of professionals. Candidate must enjoy talking with and developing relationships with our clients and must be dedicated to working with each client and patient as an individual to fill their needs. 


We are seeking a licensed technician (or highly experienced assistant) who has a passion for animal health and welfare. Our mission is to ensure all patients are able to receive the medical care they require regardless of their owner's financial status. We are seeking an individual who shares our level of compassion and dedication to this mission.


This position will be focused primarily on the medical side of the practice (inpatient care and outpatient appointments) and less on the surgical side; however, the experience in surgical preparation, assisting, and recovery is a must. Although the majority of our patients are canine/feline, ideal candidate will be experienced in or willing to learn exotic animal care.

Schedule will primarily be Monday-Friday 11pm-7pm. Saturday availability is required (one Saturday per month right now but may change as the organization grows). 

 
Experienced technicians/assistants are preferred, but new graduates who have passed the VTNE and are licensed in the state of Ohio are welcome and encouraged to apply


Salary is based on experience ($12-$16/hr)

Client Service Representative - Full and Part Time

TAHO is looking to add multiple full-time CSRs to our team of professionals. Our team prides themselves on the high level of customer service and medical care that they provide. Candidate must enjoy talking with and developing relationships with our clients and must be dedicated to working with each client as an individual to fill their needs.


Our mission is to ensure all patients are able to receive the medical care they require regardless of their owner's financial status. We are seeking an individual who shares our level of compassion and dedication to this mission.

Multiple full-time positions available: First Shift 7a-3p; Second Shift 12p-8p. Shifts are Monday-Friday with one Saturday per month required - more weekend availability may become necessary as the organization grows (up to every other weekend). Shifts may vary at times to cover team requests and shortages as needed.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): management of high volume phone system, assistance with surgical patient intakes each morning or surgical releases in the evening, surgical charting and invoicing, checking patients in and out from outpatient appointments, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front portion of the hospital, assisting medical team with client communications, problem solving, time management, handling/directing client concerns.

Candidate must excel in customer service and have a bright and positive attitude. just be able to remain calm and organized during high volume and stressful situations. 


Experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Salary is based on experience ($10-$12/hr)

Associate Veterinarian (Outpatient/Medical) - Full and Part Time

TAHO is a non-profit animal welfare organization with a focus on accessible/affordable high quality medical care. Our hospital is fast-paced and high-volume. Our services include high-volume spay/neuter, routine wellness, urgent/emergency care, dental care and surgery, radiology, in-house diagnostics, general and emergency surgery, 24 hour inpatient care/hospitalization, end-of-life care/hospice and euthanasia, and more.


We are seeking a licensed veterinarian who has a passion for animal health and welfare. Our mission is to ensure all patients are able to receive the medical care they require regardless of their owner's financial status. We are seeking an individual who shares our level of compassion and dedication to this mission.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator works with the public to market our organization and to recruit volunteers for various tasks and programs. 

This director works closely with other directors to find and organize volunteers that may be needed for a certain department or event. 

The Volunteer Coordinator is the go-to contact for all volunteers and will be responsible for logging volunteer hours, communicating volunteers via email and Facebook group, and managing volunteer activities and performance. 

This is a volunteer position for someone who enjoys leading a team and appreciates organization. This position is a remote position that can be performed in your home or in the community on your own terms. 


Hospital Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers who want to work in the hospital environment. 

Possible duties include:

- Walking and feeding animals

- Bathing animals

- Cleaning cages, sweeping, mopping, etc

- Laundry - Lots of Laundry

- Cleaning, Sterilizing, and wrapping surgical instruments

- Stocking Supplies

- Assisting Surgical Team With Patient Recovery (cuddle time)

- Answering Phones

... and much more. 


Duties and restrictions vary and will be discussed prior to starting. We understand most people want the hands on animal care experience; however, for the safety of our volunteers, staff, and our patients animal handling is very limited.
