TAHO is a community focused and mission based animal welfare organization that specializes in accessible/affordable high quality medical care. Our hospital is fast-paced and high-volume. Our services include high-volume spay/neuter, routine wellness, urgent/emergency care, dental care and surgery, radiology, in-house diagnostics, general and emergency surgery, 24 hour inpatient care/hospitalization, end-of-life care/hospice and euthanasia, and more.
Our mission is to ensure all patients are able to receive the medical care they require regardless of their owner's financial status. We are seeking individuals who share our level of compassion and dedication to this mission.
TAHO is seeking multiple Ohio licensed veterinarians to join our outpatient team. Experienced professionals are preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.

TAHO is seeking educated and experienced RVTs to assist in expanding our dental programs.
Our RVTs function as leaders amongst our medical team to help ensure we are continuously delivering the best medical care possible.

TAHO is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill a full-time Veterinary Assistant position within our organization.
Our VTAs primarily focus on providing assistance to all of our medical and surgical professionals, as well as maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment.

The Volunteer Coordinator works with the public to market our organization and to recruit volunteers for various tasks and programs.
This director works closely with other directors to find and organize volunteers that may be needed for a certain department or event.
The Volunteer Coordinator is the go-to contact for all volunteers and will be responsible for logging volunteer hours, communicating volunteers via email and Facebook group, and managing volunteer activities and performance.
This is a volunteer position for someone who enjoys leading a team and appreciates organization. This position is a remote position that can be performed in your home or in the community on your own terms.
We are always looking for volunteers who want to work in the hospital environment.
Possible duties include:
- Walking and feeding animals
- Bathing animals
- Cleaning cages, sweeping, mopping, etc
- Laundry - Lots of Laundry
- Cleaning, Sterilizing, and wrapping surgical instruments
- Stocking Supplies
- Assisting Surgical Team With Patient Recovery (cuddle time)
- Answering Phones
... and much more.
Duties and restrictions vary and will be discussed prior to starting. We understand most people want the hands on animal care experience; however, for the safety of our volunteers, staff, and our patients animal handling is very limited.
